I am a proud son of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) and currently reside on the island of Saipan. I hold an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts with an Emphasis in Education from Northern Marianas College. I then moved to the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. After completing my undergraduate degree, I returned to Saipan and began my career in Research and Extension, working for the Northern Marianas College Cooperative Research, Extension, and Education Services' Nutrition and Health Program and Family, Community, and Youth Development as an Extension Agent.In my role, I have contributed to Children's Healthy Living research projects, taught Nutrition and Health courses to underserved families, developed and facilitated youth leadership programs for ages 5-19, and engaged in various community projects with government and non-profit organizations across the CNMI. I am now transitioning into becoming a formal educator, aiming to break down barriers and reimagine STEM education by applying the STEMS² framework and advocating for local experts to be the voices of knowledge in the classrooms.In my free time, I enjoy dancing and playing the ukulele. I have a passion for travel and hope to visit Greece in the next year. I'm always open to new experiences, cultures, and ways of thinking.
